Records, Transcripts & Report Cards
GRADE REPORTING
Progress and grade reports are processed twice per quarter for a total of eight (8) times per year. Progress reports are sent home halfway through the quarter as a notice to parents that your child has a low grade in one or more classes. Only students who have a grade of C- or below in any class will get a progress report. Progress report grades are not calculated into a student's grade point average (GPA). Grade reports are sent home at the end of the quarter for all students in all classes and those are the official end of quarter grades which are reflected on the transcript and in the calculation of GPA.
STUDENT RECORDS / TRANSCRIPT REQUESTS
Official student records are maintained by the school registrar and any request for school records should be directed to her. Requests for transcripts and test scores for private school applications should be submitted up to one week in advance of the due date. Official school records are transferred to a student's new school upon moving when they are requested by the new school. Records not requested by the new school are kept in permanent storage at Peterson Middle School.
