President's welcome letter
Dear Peterson Families,
Welcome to the 2017-18 school year! I am honored to serve as your next PTSA president. We have a wonderful board of fellow parents who are working together to support our Peterson community. We aspire to bring our community closer together by providing opportunities to work together to strengthen our school community while enriching the lives of our children. We welcome everyone and invite you to join us, to stay connected and be involved by joining our PTSA. We will help keep you informed of all the events, programs and activities throughout the year as well as when there are opportunities to help lend hand. There will be book fairs, bake sales, dances, luncheons and many other community-building events. We invite each and every one of you to help make a difference.
The Peterson Middle School PTSA wants you to be apart of our crew, “Welcome aboard! Join our PTSA today.”
Let’s create a great year together,
Lisa Schreiber
President, Peterson Middle School PTSA
DIRECT DONATION APPEAL
Dear Peterson Parents,
As we start another school year, we are reminded of what a wonderful school Peterson is. Peterson staff makes it a priority to support and build connections for our students, leading to a positive school climate that prioritizes safety, education, team work, responsibility, purpose, motivation and success.
This year, we would like to raise funding for improvements in technology as well as continuing contributions to funding in the area of Health, Safety and Wellness. These goals are in line with our Local Control and Accountability Plan (LCAP). The LCAP describes the school’s overall vision for students, annual goals, and specific actions that Peterson Middle School will take to achieve its vision and goals.
Thank you in advance for your consideration and support of our 2017-2018 Direct Donation Appeal. All of the proceeds of this campaign will be donated back to the school for health and wellness, technology, and parent education. Let’s continue to improve and support improvements in technology and a positive school climate that will directly impact our students.
Sincerely,
Lisa Schreiber and Julie LaFramboise
